Deviantart (DA) is the largest artist site on the net..... 90% of the "art" there is very minor-league of course, but a few percent of the artists there....several thousand.... are major-league .... DA's printing leaves much to be desired, but there are even more serious shortcomings with AW's prints. The majority of my images are on dofaust.deviantart.com and artin2007.deviantart.com, ....although I still enjoy many artists on AW.... all of my suggestions for improvements on AW have either been ignored or never seriously considered....whereas... DA has at least 50% of the functionality that any artist could want... over the years, I am sorry to say that I have seen a steady decline in AW functionality that would facilitate networking/socializing... In new developments, a very large web page host "wix" has just acquired DA...that bodes well....
