I was born in Modena, I grew up in the surroundings of Milan and I live in the Province of Padua. What I mostly love of Po Valley is the embrace of the fog, which makes everything slower and more human. I love art, the talent of conveying emotions, in any form. Images, literature, music are expressions I live in reciprocal relationship. The discovery of a personal use of the scanner, pure off camera or with graphic elaboration, has enabled me to express the world as I live it inside of me, as I can feel it, not in an exact correspondence with factual reality; in other words closer to my own truth. Initially I tried with writing, poems and short stories above all. Yet, I felt I had never totally reached the sensations and the deep essence I wanted to convey. Far from thinking that now I succeed in reaching that, I can say I manage to set my thoughts free more effectively ; I like interweaving images and writings and I can also feel stronger harmony between mind and spirit. Thus I started making a more professional use of the camera too. I soon felt curiosity. The satisfaction I went through, and that I’m still going through, encourages me to “dare” more and more. That’s the way I started to make actual pictures using mixed techniques, making printing on canvas of different materials, canvas and polyester and using oil, acrylic, glue, silicon.

Nata a Modena, cresciuta nell'hinterland milanese, residente in provincia di Padova, ciò che amo di più della Valle del Po è l'abbraccio della nebbia, capace di rendere tutto più lento e umano. Amo l’arte, il talento di trasmettere emozioni, in ogni sua forma. Immagine, letteratura, musica sono espressioni che vivo correlate tra loro. La scoperta dell’uso personale che potevo fare dello scanner, off camera puro o con elaborazioni grafiche, mi ha concesso la possibilità di riuscire a esprimere il mondo come lo vivo dentro di me, come lo sento, non rispondente alla realtà oggettiva, ma tanto più vicino a una verità mia. La via che percorrevo prima era quella della scrittura, poesie e racconti soprattutto, eppure alle mie sensazioni e alla sostanza profonda di quello che volevo trasmettere non mi sembrava mai di arrivare totalmente. Lungi dal pensare che adesso io ci arrivi, però mi sembra di liberare meglio i miei pensieri, mi piace unire immagini e scritture, e sento più armonia anche tra spirito e mente. Ho cominciato così a fare un uso più professionale anche della macchina fotografica. La curiosità è stata subito tanta, e la soddisfazione che provavo e che provo mi motiva ad “osare” sempre di più. E’ così che ho cominciato a fare veri e propri quadri usando tecniche miste, facendo stampe su tele di diverso materiale, canvas e poliestere, e a usare olio, acrilico, stucco, colla, silicone
