Artist Bio

I started my professional career in graphic reproduction as a transparency retoucher touching up images for the advertising world. From there I migrated onto computers retouching digitally on a german system called Chromacom, then onto a Quantel Graphic Paintbox, and then to a SGI Octane system using Creator. It was whilst using the SGI box that I began to dabble in 3D animation applications, using them to create hi-resolution still images. I dabbled with a few applications before settling on Softimage 3D because of it's close relationship with Mental Ray as it's raytracer. Migrating to XSi from version 1, it is still my main tool, but others include, Photoshop, Blender, SketchUp and Painter.
