TC Krantz has won several awards and recognition for her artwork throughout her general education career. She has mostly used an Eagle No. 2 pencil on regular paper texture and weight for her earlier drawings. It wasn't until 1998 that she began to work in complete photo realistic portraiture and changed her regular paper surface to illustration board. Finding the changes in durability and texture appealing to not only herself but her clients, TC continues to work with illustration board to this day. In December, 2000, she attained an Associates degree in Visual Communication majoring in Graphic Design and Illustration.
