I'm Kate and I'm 21 years old, studying to become an illustrator/character conceptor and a tattooer also. I live in a town called Châteauguay, 20 minutes away from Montréal, Québec (Canada).
Interests: I love everything sentimental, gothic, dark and macabre. I love music as everyone else. Drawing is what I actually like the most. I also dark beauty and philosophies and enjoy darkness. I try to change the common thoughts about darkness so it can be as equal as lightness. I actually think darkness is forming a balance in life and that too much people try to break that balance by destroying darkness away without knowing it deeper.
Music genre: Finnish/Melodic/black/gothic/Progressive/Speed/Power metal. Music I listen to: Sonata Arctica, Rhapsody, NightWish, Ensiferum, Nocturnal Rites, Finntroll, Stratovarius, Northern Kings, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Opeth, Zonata, Apocalyptica, Epica, DragonForce, Blind Guardian, Children of Bodom, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Goo goo Dolls, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Queen, Wintersun, In Flames, Dream Theater, Moonsorrow, Moonspell.
Myself: - Physical appearance: Ahah. I guessed it, don't you worry. Well, I'm pretty small. 5'2'. I'm not skinny at all and far from being obese. I have many complexes about myself, as everyone I guess, and I don't care anymore; I'm like this and I accept the person I am. My clothing style is really simple to describe: gothic. I love everything gothic, victorian and medieval. I barely change my clothes every 6 months. I can be either a full-gothic gore with chains and spikes as I can also be a 'traditional' gothic with long skirts, corsets, long laced boots, etc. Yes, I wear black make-up. Lips, nails, eyes. I also pretty much like dressing with the clothes I want; if you didn't notice, gothics all dress differently. I like the cyber gothic look (without those googles). Love those dreads.
Piercing(s)? Yes, five, two on the same side of the nose, two others on the left ear and one below my inferior lip.
Tattoo(s)? Yes. (10) I have a big tribal dragon on my right arm (now covered by a big crow), the satanic pentacle on my hand, a realistic version of the wolf from the album For the sake of revenge (Sonata Arctica) and Sonata Arctica's logo on my arm. 2 on left leg, 2 on the right one, and one of my drawing on my chest.
Other than that, my eyes' colors depends on my mood; they usually change frequently of color. They can be blue, gray, green and I had one time only purple eyes. It was freaky. But most of the time, one eye is green and the other blue/gray. My hair color is black. Simply put, BLACK. My skin color is a low beige. I'm actually pale. Not dead; pale.
-Psychologic: I'm a pretty nice person in general. I can be moody, as everyone else, but I usually am pretty easy to talk to. I love talking with others and I like it when people ask me questions about my person before they tell prejudices on my back. I'm fascinated over death and macabre arts. Vampirism is somewhat part of the person I am and I'm not afraid to tell it. I do not diss blood, as it is our vital liquor, I do not diss at all those that drink it, and I actually want a 'vampire' boyfriend. One of my default would probably be being too much sentitive as I cry for nothing sometimes. There was, one time, that dead squirrel on the highway and I started to cry. I'm really close to nature, as you probably guessed.
Other than that, I'm playing drums since 2 years and I keep playing bass guitar but this time, on Arcade games. I left bass guitar 2 years ago because I couldn't remember a single note. (no joke) And I was learning it since 6 years now! idem for piano, flute and guitar. That's why I drum now; no notes on paper, no cords. Just two sticks and... ROCK!
