My obsession with art began in early childhood with cartoons. I experimented in several mediums before my preference for oil painting became obvious. I painted my first oil at age 13, pictured here, Yonne Canal. Oscar Sormani, now deceased, was my mentor, teaching me how to paint in the style of the old masters. The digital era has opened up whole new vistas for me creatively. I have an Associates Degree in Fine Art, am pursuing my Bachelors, with concentrations in graphic design and studio art.
