Hi everyone, we are 9 senior Murri School Art students ranging in age from 15- 17. The word "Murri" refers to Queensland born Indigenous Australians. There are only 70 students in our high school, which is a non government school. It is the first Indigenous owned and operated school in Queensland and has been in operation for 25 years now. 96% of our school population is either Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. We are learning how to use an internet based gallery such as Artwanted.com to show others our art and be encouraged by feedback given to us from experienced artists around the world.
