I have enjoyed art since I was a child when my sister and I would draw paper dolls while mother worked in her home beauty shop. I grew up in a small town with limited art instruction buy my teachers recognized my talent and were always giving me extra art projects to do for them. I have done some sign painting and have taken a correspondence course in art. Later, I have taken quite a few art courses in college although my major was not art and have studied under 2 very good artists. I have shown, competed, won, lost, sold, given and in general wraped myself in the love of art. I particularily enjoyed doing some illustrations for the local newspaper. I generally have a comission going most of the time. I am married and we had six children, 5 living; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
