I gave up on Art Duel. You are right about repeated images in the same day. The quality of the art is just Aweful. There’s one artist that posts basically the same images tweaked several times a week, only difference are the number of limbs, lol.

Yes Scott, a lot of the AI images I see have too many limbs... deformed fingers and many other distortions. When people create with AI, they need to pay attention to those imperfections and correct them if they can before posting. AI is not perfect and can be even messy... so that leaves a lot of time for cleaning up, reconstruction, erasing etc... I consider myself a professional with adobe but no longer have a working program to do the kind of art I want to, so I stay away from AI. I can spot AI pretty easy and noticed many people try to pass it off and post it as an original oil, acrylic, pastel, etc... with a trained eye and experience you can spot the difference. My work is all digital using tools from Adobe probably 95% 0f the time... well at least it was before my program crashed on me. Now I am using lesser-known programs that can't compare to Adobe. I miss the tools I have used for the last 25 years in Adobe and now find it hard to create work the way I use to. I would like to add that I think AI is a wonderful new technology, but it leaves a lot of room for improvement and when artist and creative minds use this new technology, they need to look for the mistakes it can create and not just wonder at the amazing art it can create.

Agree with all. Been waiting to see if someone else committed again on all the really bad stuff on there. Also I never look at the titles. 99% of the time it doesn't make sense and have to laugh when I do look. So many terrific artists and they are no where to be seen. When a good one appears the numbers are so low, it makes me rather mad. I quit and then later try again but same O same O. Sorry but all your comments are so true.

Hi Mark: I finally cut off art duel and removed it from my dashboard . Still duplicates and people voting on Art images that have no eye to do so or have eyesight problems. Good idea, just not able to be properly implemented.

Sadly, I gave up on Art Duel a long time ago, for those very reasons!

I too have noticed this, 2 or 3 times in a row. I think my eyes are playing tricks, did the last vote count cuz I'm about to vote for the same 2 again?

I find similar findings. Mine are more back to back, same image, so I always think, in those instances, being an IT guy by day, that maybe what I think happened didn't happen, but it's more noticeable the way you all describe it. I've also noticed the terrible art, (thought it was just me) but I delved deeper on some of those. I find them in the 'random artwork' section as well. When I look at the profiles, many of them, they've been members going back to 2006 in some cases, haven't posted anything since 2008, don't seem to be active members, yet that artwork comes up in the art duels as well. I always want to skip those duels because sometimes they come up against another piece that is equally as horrible and how do you decide on that? And I am just noticing I already commented here..Guess it can be considered a follow up? lol
