I don't think there should be a limit, Joanie. Any member who is regular and follows the rules such as yourself should be allowed to sit in here all day if they so choose. You can click on the art duel all day long and there seems to be no limit there. You're a good member at AW... you like to send out praise and are having fun. I see nothing wrong with that. When the site sets limits on respectful members having fun you're going to lose members and popularity.

Thank you Mark. I feel the same. Though about the Duel also and the art contest is soon to be voted on and I'll probably not be able to vote there either. Hopefully I'll be back to commenting but so far I still can't.

HI jude so far I cannot comment on anyone's art work but so far if I have art on there I still can thank them in the reply. Hope that hasn'tbeen gone also. ,

We want to chime into this discussion and say that the temporary limit of artwork comments has been lifted. This was only a temporary change for a few days, while we worked on a new system to block spammers/scammers from postings hundreds of comments to our members to take advantage of them. We hope that all members (especially those in this thread) can appreciate our ongoing efforts to block spammers and scammers from taking advantage of our members.

If people are not able to reply to a comment, this is a bug and should not be happening. Please report this to our staff with a support ticket with as many details as possible, so we can look into it further. Thank You.

If AW values its members, 1. why wouldn't you notify us prior to adjustment like these,2. Why should we have to put in another ticket, AW just "chimed" in why can't you look at every member and make corrections. You have the awareness now of the problem.

Thanks for the feedback. We make code changes to the website almost daily, so we have to decide which changes are significant enough to inform all members about.

Because this was only a temporary change for a few days, and the majority of members would not be affected or even notice it, we made the decision not to announce it in advance. We apologize to those that were surprised by this temporary change last week.
