Back when it was fun. Then we found out how limited we were with AW art policies and then a lot of dissent. Seen a lot of very good artists over the years here. A fair number have passed on and a lot just left

I have thought of the past discussions. Connecting with the other artists getting to know who’s behind the art they create. Just enjoying the conversations and anyone could comment, positive and negative. For me it helped give me inspiration to create my own art. Yeah I miss those days.

I have posted many times on the Board and usually end up deleting it because it seems that no one wants to talk about anything. Same with the Idea Board... maybe many people are reluctant to post in fear of receiving the negative, but negative and positive are all a part of discussions. How we choose to see the feedback and use it is what matters.

Yeah, the discussion board was alive back in the day. People spoke their minds,good or bad. Some negativity and heated exchanges but a lot of truth in most posts.I appreciated the honesty in the discussion arena. I left for a long time but recently returned. I'm not much for social media but did enjoy an online presence. And I met a lot of good artists,both literally and on the site. A lot did leave and I wonder sometimes how their life has gone and if they're still with us.

This used to be our Facebook. You were even suspended from the discussion board if you said something out of line. There even seemed to be camps of artists who fought constantly. I think I have copies of some of the topics and responses that I posted back then.
