I just finished this recently and uploaded to my portfolio this evening---with additional photos. Three dimensional work needs to be viewed from all angles to be fully appreciated and/or understood. Its title is 'Guardian' and is made from my custom compound I have been perfecting since 2018. It stands 14 inches tall with base and the base itself is 6 inches square. The compound consists of paper, wood glue, gel medium, Mod Podge and joint compound.

This is my contest offering--a Jack-O-Lantern inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead festival. A paper mache pumpkin is covered with various handmade-from-scratch clay pieces and molded clay forms from silicone molds. These were then trimmed, added onto and manipulated to fit over the body of the pumpkin. Painted with assorted acrylics and a soft matte finish.

Kara's Red Farm Truck R.I.P. (7-12-24) Didn't quite get it done before my Kara (my wife) passed away unexpectedly. With the exception of the wheels, headlights, I made this from scrap 2 x 4's that i ripped and glued together. The interior has all the pedals and gear shift and steering wheel, along with arm rest,, interior exterior door handles and window cranks. The grill was the metal backing off my lawnmower air filter. The radiator cap is a .177 brass pellet.. But everything else is hand made from the scrap wood. She wanted a Red Farm Truck to go with the other wood builds I've done for her.
