..Dear AW

Maybe in your mind, money matters..but below are artists who have gotten very sad hits and ratings..and i would wish with your GODlike capabilities, you would at least acknowledge and erase those low ratings..those who have invested money and time in this site...!

Its an art site not a money site.....You started it, now read those names below who have written you email that you dont read or ignore, and start doing the right thing...start with PAT ABBOTT and Renate Dartois....

of course if i complained of a nude you would take notice and react at once..... PLEASE start answering the Email! and get your butts in gear for those who send you money to support this site...

I am speaking for Marlem Diaz who just received a 2 from Emma Anton, who has been roaming about doing as she pleases.

I say what I said yesterday. Protect the $ you have coming in, by acting early when asked for help. It costs you a lot more through resulting reprocussions when you don't. We know how good this organization is.You've done large and wonderful things.Don't let the little things that you can do so easely stand in the way of attracting some of that $.

still waiting......

..i have 1's that somehow got through even though i have 'no rating without a comment'... i'll keep the damn 1's (with no comment) AW, but i would love to know (which i emailed you) how that happens? Which after 3 months and 3 emails you didnt answer? and thankyou..............

Renate Dartois 15 Feb 2005

Hm---why don't we wait together Sher.

sher richardson 15 Feb 2005

would you explain this? there was no comment and i have the option of no rating without a comment.. : ) I am just a curious artist wondering....

rosemary gioielli 15 Feb 2005

:)

sher richardson 15 Feb 2005

My sincere apologizes Rosemary... I can be an insensitive brat sometimes and would ask that you would overlook my comments as unthinking and caught up in a moment of frustration... hugs, and truly i am sorry...

Pat Abbott 15 Feb 2005

I don't even care about the numbers, just get rid of the nasty comments. They are not constructive but destructive.

rosemary gioielli 15 Feb 2005

; )Thank you, I understand. Hugs back

Renate Dartois 15 Feb 2005

Pat come and wait with us.....

Sher, I bet that "1" was a mistake. She probably meant to hit the "10". I feel bad for you guys.

Rosemary, I don't think Sher meant that to be mean. It's one of those deals where you can't see the frustration and the words pop out without showing the emotion.

I have to say that a few days ago, I had a problem that AW staff handled in less than half a day. I know they're busy, so I wasn't expecting that to get taken care of so quickly.

However, I can sympathize with the frustration being felt, and I hope they get to you guys and gals soon.

Renate Dartois 15 Feb 2005

they do respond pretty good on most subjects but there is definitly a problem when it comes to that issue I have been here a year I think in April and this has always been brought up I don't mean people complaining about ratings that is different all we are asking for the management to take care of the deliberate acts of lowballing and I believe if you have 37 tens and one 4 that is in fact that. But most of all we are asking for the courtesy to answer our E-mail.

Pat Abbott 15 Feb 2005

Okay Renate, I'll come and wait w/ you. Do you have some tea?

ArtWanted.com Staff 15 Feb 2005

We apologize that some of you are frustrated with our turn-around times. As we have said before, we are very back-logged and reading and responding to e-mails simply takes a ton of time. We have hundreds of e-mails we get every day and sometimes we are not able to respond to them in days or even weeks. We respond to each e-mail in the order they come in to us.

This issue has nothing to do with money, it has everything to do with very little time. There are only a few staff members and over ten thousand artists on our site. We are greatly outnumbered. Perhaps in the future we will be able to flag e-mails from premium members to get them answered faster, but right now they all look the same to us. Only one in 20 e-mails are from a premium member. We simply respond to them as they come in and ask for you patience.

Renate Dartois 16 Feb 2005

Thank you AW for finally getting back to me and taking care of the problem--and Sher and Pat I hope that your issue also was resolved--and that hopefully more attention will given to that issue in the future.

Bob MacPherson 16 Feb 2005

Thanks AW. Just communicating makes a big difference.

I don't know how you can correct it; but if 19 out of 20 e-mails are from non-paying members, those carrying the financial load are only getting 5% of your time (in this are).

Major problem; especialy when you are looking for badly needed donations. Seems it is a MUST for correcting.

Love and respect the effort you are putting forth. Hope this one can be resolved soon. Seems it just MUST be.

RQ Trietsch 16 Feb 2005

Simple solution, or I think.

Seperate e-mail address for Premium members, that should get first priority, and another e-mail for us freebies.

Seems like the easiest a most fair scenario when it comes to the e-mails.
