A way to get rich

Did a painting in acrylic awhile ago. It has my husband and son and a few others who took a trip on the Bowron Lakes and this is what they found, the end of the rainbow!!!!!Didn,t do such a great job of the rainbow and sunlight.

Wish I was a painter to tell you how to soften your sun rays and make it more feathery (?) and how to better your rainbow.

With any luck someone with expertise will help you out.

Very good start, and once you get those two parts taken care of it will be a really good piece.

The people are great! I'm not a painter, but I think the rainbow needs more color, too.

I really like the foreground, and the mountain, but I don't see a rainbow. I can't visually understand what's happening in the sky. What does the object in the sky represent? The painting otherwise is really well done. The rest of the sky is very pretty. Just needs a little clarity with regard to the rainbow. Good job Ellen.

I thank all of you for your helpful comments. Rosemary, the picture was painted for advertising thee parks and scenery in this part of B.C. The picture was taken in the aarea of Wells, and Barkerville which was big time gold mining in the long ago so tourists attractions of all kinds are in the area. Whe my husband and son did a canoe trip in that area they took pictures and was lucky enough one morning to wake up to this site. There was actually a rainbow caused by the sun over the left hill, so that is what I was trying to portray. However I did add a pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow. It was just a fun sort of picture. The sun's rays were cutting across the rainbow. It's hard to make it out in this picture though.
