Small Change on Free Accounts

Notice to all ArtWanted.com Members...

Due to the increasing costs of bandwidth, storage and server hardware, we will be making a small change to our website on March 1st.

On this date, the number of allowed free images per month will change from 5 to 3. Each month all free account holders will be able to upload an additional three images to your account. The longer you are a member, the more images you can have in your online portfolio.

This change is being made to reduce some of our costs of running the site and keep it as fast as possible for everyone. Our traffic is growing every day and over 500 new members join our site every month! However, only 5% of these members end up supporting our site with a Premium Membership or other purchases.

Running this website is very expensive and the cost continues to rise (especially to add new features, staff members and better server equipment). We have kept our website banner free for 6 years since we opened our doors (very rare on the Internet) and we would love to keep it this way. The only way this can continue is with your support. If you like and use ArtWanted.com, we ask for just $5/month for our Premium Membership. Not only will you get a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing you are helping the ArtWanted.com community, but we also throw in a handful of upgrades as our 'thank you'. This needed income will assure that ArtWanted.com is here for a long, long time.

We also realize that there are many 'starving artists' out there that can't swing $5/month. If this is your case, no guilt is needed. We have free accounts just for this purpose and we gladly welcome you with open arms. We are happy to try and get you more exposure and provide a fun community without asking anything in return.
