Binky, if you have you have a cd driver on you computer I wouldn't think you really need a good scanner to download them on a cd. But perhaps Pete or Patrick can help you out a bit more. Also remember if you are going to save them on a CD, leave them with the max pixels if you want to make pictures of them later on, and also make another copy of them (resized) just for posting purposes.

But I think the computer people in here can give you better info than me.

Thank you RQ! I will have to pay the renewal fee for my doamin name, Hopefully I will be awarded the Pell Grant to finish paying for my college tuition fees, and books fees, this education is an investment. I purchased 2 light tables, 1 small "kiddie size" from Texas Art supply, and One from "Easels" art Studios, for a small price, the artist went on vacation and sold her old supplies, Well Folkes, This would be a good scanner.!??? http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Promotions&oid=45471986&category=Products

Ps I put the boat photo ther it is one I turned in for one photography lab I thought someone could show me how they scanned or saved that photo and told me about the pixel issues or saving instructions

Binky, if I understand you correctly ...you want to transfer hard copy art to digital to store on a CD. If that be correct, then you can do it alot cheaper with a digital camera, versus the 300 dollar scanner.

bINKY i AGREE WITH PATRICK sorry about the caps lock

You would have more flexibility

e.g. you could take photos and have hard copies and save to digital ...

think about it
