2007 Calendar Update?
Just another quick note about those that have purchased the ArtWanted.com 2005 Calendar. We again want to apologize for the delay in printing that has caused the calendar to be shipped out so late. It's out of our hands, but we still want to apologize for it.
We have seen the printed calendar and expect to have the entire shipment to us early next week. The printer is just wrapping up the final binding & packaging.
We still believe that the calendar concept is a good one, we will just be sure to start many months in advance if we do one for 2006. The turnaround time we were quoted from the printer was all verbal and just an estimate, so we really don't have much recourse for refunds or reduced costs from the printer at this point. It was their first time doing a project like this and it simply took much longer to do than expected.
Most all of the artists featured in January have a bonus image that was featured later in the year as well. We hope that this will make up for those artists that picked January dates on the calendar.
We have learned a lot doing our first calendar. We will change many things in future calendars, so that the process runs smoother and we have our product BEFORE the new year. :-)
We think everyone will be pleased with the final product and enjoy the talented artwork found on each day of the year.
