Feeling a whole lot better now, and ready to create more... so count me in too..

I think the form of payment is in the exposure of one of our pieces to the public. Perhaps AW would allow us to have our website link or email in tiny letters as part of our image? It is part of my copyright text.

I would love to help design a piece, having been involved in marketing/design at an ad agency for a number of years. I think this would be a great challenge.

What about doing one of those "images within an image" kind of posters...for example a huge flower image could be created out of many floral images from our members. I think they are known as "photo quilts" or something like that. Somewhere I saw one that had a legend on the back regarding theimages used in the piece.

Here's an example, although not the best I've seen, it shows you what I'm talking about.

Thanks, Leigh - I figured this would be a way for lots of people to participate, and by having a "map" on the back of the poster, interested viewers could go to visit the individual artist's website (or AW portfolios), in essence promoting the most individuals possible on one piece.

I think I'll pass on this one. Just for my own knowledge, is a poster with lots of images something that people like to purchase? In my mind this type of poster is something that people would offer to contribute to so that AW could use the them as promotional tools to send to companies, or they could use it as a call for entries poster, etc. I don't understand how it would work with so many posters for all of the different themes and how you would ever make your money back. I would be more likely to contribute if I knew it was going to go farther than just my own hands. I did participate in the book and the calendar, and I love the book, and I'm sure I'll love the calendar. I don't fully understand how you can market the posters. Thank you for always coming up with new ideas though. In case anyone thinks I'm raining on their parade with these questions, I'm not. I think it's great that there is an interest. I just thought I'd ask for my own edification and give AW the feedback they asked for:)

Great idea. Also, why not have posters for sale of individual works of art..maybe let premium members sell their own posters directly from you?? But a poster concept is a great idea.
