Does the category Underwater: "Life Under the Sea" include "Under the River?" Otters are one of my favorite water dwellers. "Hunting Grounds" is a watercolor inspired by an close encounter with a river otter. Seated at a judicious distance on the bank, I watched him catch a salmon nearly as big as himself, haul it out onto a mid-stream rock, and enjoy it while declaring in no uncertain [otter-speak] terms he wasn't about sharing.
