Just updated my page, and I have to say I love it. The multiple file feature is pretty awesome and worked like a charm.

I tried using this to upload my photographs for the print program and it all works fine until it takes me to the file uploader and then it is giving me the same problems as it was when I tried it with the single file uploading.

For Print Program: Is there a size limit to upload in 'Multiple file' upload.

I too am having 'Java.net socket exception error" with large files.

You recommend uploading JPEG. Should we compress the file to a small file? It is the large file I am having trouble uploading.

Can JPEG be "uncompressed" to a LARGE file for printing from a small file?

Thanks so much!

I am having repeated problems with it crapping out! makes it anywhere from 30-50% then the following error- java.net.socketexception:software caused connection to abort: socketwriteerror

The single file is having problems too- can't upload anything much larger than 10MB.

ran the console... error message:

I cannot upload print size images (usually 4 MB in size) without getting disconnected from the server. I'm on a dialup connection at 52 kbps and it kicks me off after 15 minutes. The multiple feature doesn't work for me at all either. Is everyone on DSL? Not sure how you're getting the print sizes online. I want to sell items but end up uploading very small or pixelated versions which only allow for very small prints to be made. Any suggestions? It's very frustrating.

Thanks.

We are testing out a new multiple upload feature that may improve and/or fix some of the issues that some of you are having.

Most people have high-speed nowadays, but some people still have dial-up. We don't know how many have dial-up that upload large files, but hopefully some of them can speak up and let us know what they see when they upload.

I've been using a computer for about 15 years, and can do most common tasks, but this Java upload has me thoroughly confused.

Didn't work for me (I think). is it because I use a Mac and Safari? Should I try in IE?

Randall Klopping 01 Nov 2006

your java upload is messed up yet again!!!

Karen Godin 07 Nov 2006

multiple upload feature not working (tried yesterday & today), ended up using the single upload, instead.

We have fixed the bug that was being caused by the multiple upload feature so you can use it again.

On a MAC using Mozilla Foxfire and I can get past the "expired certificate" and times out..... here's what I get.

ArtWanted.com Staff 13 Nov 2006

What happens when you clidk the 'trust' button?

Southern Charm Photography 13 Nov 2006

Didn't try it because of the "expired certificate" and message about totally "unrestricted access" to my computer.

I did try the "do not trust" button and it locks up my Internet so I have to close and open a new window to get out of it.

I have Safari also and will try it as well.

Terry Bassett 13 Nov 2006

Just uploaded 14 fairly large images and it worked well..

The certificate needs fixing!!

Edit:

Just noticed the zoom images are all missing....

NOTE: We have updated the 'digital certificate' with the latest version, so you should not get that message any more.
