ArtWanted.com Website Traffic
We have had a bunch of members ask us for website statistics recently, so we thought we would put together a message for everyone to see.
Traffic, membership and artwork sales increase every single month on ArtWanted.com - Even with hundreds of new members joining every month, the average hits to artist portfolios increases by an even larger percent.
We will first start off with our yearly growth numbers. Every year our website traffic is jumping higher and higher. Below is a chart of the 'unique visitors' to our site in the last four years. In Jan 2003 we had 12,000 unique visitors to our site. Compare this with the 530,000 unique visitors we had in Jan 2006. The numbers this year are over 44 times greater then 4 years ago!
As we look back at 2005, it was a great year for ArtWanted.com. We launched the print program and many other improvements were made throughout the year. The number of unique visitors more than tripled from Jan - Dec and the number of artwork sales greatly increased, due to the sales generated from the print program.
For those that want to know our recent traffic statistics, here are the numbers for January 2006:
Total Unique Visitors: 530 Thousand
Total Pageviews: 5.5 Million
Total Website Hits: 31 Million
