A: To avoid having 2,000 subject categories in the search drop down list, we try and limit the number of 'subjects' that we have and create groups that fit most artwork that is out there. For now, just be sure to put 'urban' in your keywords and those that are searching for that type of artwork/photos will see your portfolio. If enough people suggest a new category, then we do consider adding it to our list of drop down options.
My question is, is this happening because he might have the same IP as someone who has commented? There is no one else that uses his computer at home, on here, and I'm wondering if it just happens to be the same IP as another member's.

A: There are times when some people comment and those comments are 'hidden' from the public. This person has already commented on this image, but it was hidden from the public, so you can only see it in your members area.
If there's images in a portfolio, it hasn't been added to or updated in over a year and their contact email comes back unable to deliver, should these accounts remain?
A: We posted the reasons why we currently keep these accounts on our site on that thread.
You have a grey/blue background on the site, and nice blue headers. Would you consider changing the turquoise text to another color? I've always found that hard to read.
A: The blue and turquoise our our company colors, so we use them a lot throughout the site. We have not received this feedback before, so it's not something that we have in our current plans to change.
A: We don't currenly disclose the exact details of all the sales and revenue from our website. We can tell you that we have 10-100 sales every day on our site, most of them are from print program members.
A: We don't have plans to change our default background color to black, but we redesign our site every few years and who knows what the future will bring.
A: To e-mail us, simply click on the CONTACT US link at the bottom of any page and fill out the form.
A: We have always had the 'Art Discussion' thread and have had very few fights there. The word Discussion does not translate to 'fight', so we really don't feel the need to change the word for the Photography Discussion area. Someone just needs to spend a little time in it to realize that it's just about people discussing photography and the name of the forum says exactly what happens in that area.
A: This is a good suggestion. We will note it down for future upgrades that are done to our site throughout the year.
A: We are not quite sure what scale you are referring to that goes up to 10,000. Our scale ranges from 1-10. You can see what those number mean in various places of our site.
A: Most images are reviewed and updated within 24 hours, but there are times that it may take longer.
A: If the image no longer says 'pending review' then the image has been updated, or rejected. 99% of the time, it's accepted, but your browser cache is showing the old image, while everyone else is seeing the new image.
A: Canvas prints require a very high resolution image to start with. If the files you have uploaded do not meet that requirement, then you will not have any canvas prints available to purchase.
A: Canvas prints are from 8x10" to 36x48" and they should be at least 200 DPI, but 300 DPI is better.
A: As we have said many times, we have not yet decided the fate of the GD boards, or we would tell everyone. We will be launching a survey to our members within the next week and one of the questions has to do with the GD boards. Once we gather enough feedback and review the pros and cons of having it back, we will make our final decision about the GD board sometime in July.
A: We are always working on new features for our site, we have a list of dozens of things we want to do to improve ArtWanted.com. At this time, this list is private, so that we set the correct expectations. Some things on the list may not be done for years, and others will be done this month, so we prefer to announce the new features as they are available to our members.
How are you planning to promote those proud members which are really skillful and talented ? Yes i am saying about the BESTS among all good.
Each day, we have a 'featured artist of the day' where we promote a talented member of our site at random. Other than this, we rely on our members to promote who you think is talented through our 'pics of the day' section. Due to the large amount of artwork on our site, our members are the best choice to find and promote those artists that deserve special recognition on our site.
