Artists should be allowed to express themselves. I never visited the message boards on here... but, as soon as you start limiting how I can express myself, I will not think twice about leaving.

I must have been out of the loop with everything going on. this was s shock for me this morning when I logged onto the boards. Though yesterday, I fund myself staying away from the boards because of all the negativity and the reality was I wanted to be here. Honestly I think it was an appropriate move on your behalf AW. As you said the other alternative wasn't as kind. Thanks for the auction post as well!!!!

AWSOME JOB AW .......i WELCOME this change with both arms open....CHANTING yes yes yes yes yes....But what will happen now is that these same people will be spreading their ways to all other topic forums???????????????Is it anything going to be done about that AW?

I would think topic is a MUST STAY ON TOPIC and how is this gona be enforced?

AW states "It's unfortunate that a few dozen members that can't control what they type have lead us to make this decision, we wish we didn't have to do this and that everyone could just get along on the boards."

Pros:

This will encourage members to focus on what ArtWanted.com is really about, artistic expression.

Cons:

Many members relied upon the General Discussion boards to "socialize", and the removal may result in personal distress.

It doesn't matter one way or another to us :-)

If anyone wants to "socialize", send us an e-mail. We can entertain you :-)
