Say, when I just went to renew our account membership, I got this message:

ArtWanted.com Premium Upgrade - 1 Year - ArtID:24731 ($0.00 prorated amount for December plus $29 for 12 full months = $39.00.

Now, that doesn't sound like the original offer of $29.00.

Can you give us a hand?

I got the same message and I have my membership until the end of March paid already and it wanted $39 for Jan to Dec.......

Thanks for the note, this bug has now been fixed. You should now see the $29 price in your shopping cart.

Why does everything always go on sale after I pay full price.. I just paid my 39.00 on the 19th... geeeeeees.

Okay, now if we do the renewal, will it be effective in February , which is our anniversary date?

Yes, any renewals will just add one year to the end of your subscription period. No time will be lost.

I paid 39.- for my renewal earlier than I needed; it was due end of December. I really feel penalized for not paying at the last minute.

David - Remember that ArtWanted.com runs on Mountain Standard Time, so when you came to the site to upload images it was still only 11pm in December for our website. Now that the clock has changed to 2008, you shouldn't have any problems posting your images.

Am I being penalized for paying before my due date 31. December? Is this how you treat premium members who have paid for some years now? The least you could do is give the balance to the charity.

Angela - No one is being penalized for anything. We had a spur of the moment sale, that is all. You paid what every other member has paid for the last several years for a Premium Membership. If you wanted to take advantage of the sale and add another year, great. If not, then you paid the normal price of the membership and should not feel cheated or penalized in any way. We apologize that this upset you, we would think that it would make most people happy that we reduced our prices for a short time.

Thanks for the reply, however, I cannot afford to pay for two years memership, even at the reduced price for the second year. I will review the situation before my next renewal and decide if it is worth it.

If many of the members are happy, being able to take advantage of the reduced price - good for them and I wish them all and AW staff a Happy New Year
