From our recent research, it appears that most e-mail software/providers will block the 'embed' or 'object' HTML tag for security reasons, which is what is needed for the Widget to run within an e-mail.

If we find a way around these security settings, we will be sure to post and update with instructions on how to do so.

If anyone is using a mail provider or software that does allow the Widget, please post what software/provider you are using and instructions on how to get the Widget working within your e-mail. Thanks.

Once again all my widgit is doing is Random and It will not customize to me so it is not working. I have wasted enough of my time on a project of AW so that I once again have afrown on my face and an unhapy start to my day..

merle cruser 14 Sep 2007

I can't even get a preview of my widgit. Something is wrong and it's not my computer or me.

merle - To have your own custom widget, it's very simple. First you have to enable the Widget in your profile. Then click on the 'Promote This Artist' link on your portfolio page, and copy and paste that Widget code into your site. That's it, and you are done.

WIDGET IN EMAIL!!

I got it to work with a roundabout procedure. First, get your widget running on a web page, preferably with nothing else on it. In Safari, there's "Mail contents of this page" under the file menu. Do all browsers have the equivalent? The command creates an editable email. Remove all content except your widget--and send!

ANY FASTER?

I would like to know if I can increase the scroll speed.

Thanx!

merle cruser 14 Sep 2007

Like I said, I can't see my widgit, it comes up saying artwanted.com and if I hit view it takes me to aw homepage. It only shows random and I customize and see artwanted.com scrolling and no portfolio, click view and to home page. it is not working so it is useless. It won't customize, it only shows random or aw.com

irritated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bianca 14 Sep 2007

Merle, did you TURN ON WIDGET before u did anything?

if not go to

1. MEMBERS AREA

2.USER PREFFERENCE

3.You will see WIDGET FEAUTURE

4.MARK SHOW this will show your personal widget... if that is marked hide....u will not see your widget...

Digital Crafts - At this time the scroll speed is set at one speed, but we expect to have future options to change the scrolling speed.

I, for one, am really enjoying this widget. It's allowing me to promote my favorite artists easily and in a very attention getting way in my blog!

Love it!

What I like to do is put together a design studio. The photographs are not on sale. But ready to add more features, for anyone that appreciates the portfolios. It's a sure thing away from your regular broadcasting mediums. The subscriptions in cable, radio, satellite and the Internet.

I have my widget on my personal site. I just love it. Thanks AW!!
