Minerva - To answer your question, the graph will update automatically if someone pays by credit card. If someone pays by PayPal, echeck, check/money order or fax payment, then the graph will be updated manually by our staff, usually within 24 hours.

Love the graph, and understand that due to privacy that names and amounts each person donated is not to be posted up. However, could you post how many people have donated?

I waited to renew my membership because of the original thought to have $.99 donated from it, but see how you separated it. That's fine as well. Will be donating and renewing this week. Really hope that you get the art auction going.

So, I don't have a lot of money but would like to donate. But I can't cause AW is accepting donations by credit card or paypal. I have neither and can get neither. As far as paypal you can set up with a bank account but you need a credit card to pay the fee. I guess because I am not a US citizen. So no, I can't donate as it stands now.

Judy....u dont need credit card for the PAYPAL....i have paypal..u just signup for it...but u do have to have a checking account...they will charge your checking account ....

I see the donation count now. It wasn't showing when I first looked. I had to update some software and found it was causing glitches so spent time to get the problem corrected. Thanks Renate for pointing it out for me.

Bianca, you do have to have a credit card to pay the fees, I tried and they asked. Don't forget I am Canadian it makes a difference. Minerva I thank you for your reply. Yes I know about the pitfalls of owning credit cards you can so easily get into trouble! But alas, there was a day when it was never a problem but then...s**t happens :( Well, it is up to AW if they would accept money orders, the ball is in their park so to speak :) Take care all :)

no matter HOW BAD THE CREDIT is ...if u have a checking account u can get DEBIT CARD with nio problems...no one checks credit for debit card.. and PAYPAL ACCEPTS debit cards that i know 100%

Bianca, you are not getting it lol. I tried to set it up, seriously! I made all the steps and yes I have a debit card and I followed the steps to the last and then when I got to last step they asked for a credit card number to pay for fees, $1.30 or more I don't remember. Yes, I have a debit card. Seriously things are different if you are not American, totally different! You have to pay a fee. And how can you tell me that it works when I have tried as a person from Canada and it would not work and I even wrote them and they just said yeah you need credit card for the fee. Anyway that is all I am gonna say on that lol. :)

If you don't have a credit card, simply send your check like I did. I rarely buy something on the net with my credit card, unless I know the company is super reliable. And, AW, do not disclose the name of the donor or amount donated. We don't need another infamous Top 10 based on who donated the most..!!

Judy i always pay paypal with debit card..... I am not lying i have no reason....just enter your debit card # and it will go through..where it say credit card enter debit # number...

OKAY PEOPLE let me CLEAR UP CONFUSION with paypal....I been with paypal 5 years....and i have never GIVEN THEM CREDIT CARD.....they have my DEBIT CARD ON FILE....debit card can be used as a credit card where ever they accept regular VISA CARDS...any businesses......in the world...I have a business and MERCHANT ACCOUNT and 80% of my sales are debit cards....

I am link to PAYPAL and paypal does accept DEBIT CARDS...hope this helps

I do however carry american express but PAYPAL doesnt have it

Thanks Minerva looks like this is new, thanks!! Bianca I never called you a liar, I am not either. And last I tried Paypal many years ago they asked for credit card to enter my bank account, debit card. Unless they have changed since those years ago. Again, thanks Minerva for your info and I will send a money order. I am not doing well financially but there are so many others who need it more!!! Please remember this people! And kids need it most! Always be grateful for the finances you have and even if you have little when you give it comes back to you many times over!

Oh yeah PS..Yeah I have sent many money orders to US for ebay and stuff but lol over here the fee is like 4 dollars extra lol. But, thank goodness our dollar is doing so well. Not quite on par but close :) So take care all :)
