New Contests Area!

The new ArtWanted.com contests area is open for business!

We have completely redesigned the contests area of our website and changed the way we run our art contests going forward and we know that you will like the changes.

Here is a quick overview:

1) CONTEST PAGE LAYOUT:

The first change that you will instantly see is the new design/layout of the page. Instead of looking like the regular message boards, the new contests area has a different format, so that it can bring more attention to the open contests and to highlight the winners of past contests.

2) ACCURATE DATES

We have also completely automated many of the contest functions that caused delays in voting and the results in our past contests. This new system will not require our staff to babysit the contests as much as before and should mean accurate deadlines going forward.

3) MORE FREQUENT CONTESTS

Our goal is to post one new contest per week on our site to give more opportunities for our members to participate in our art/photography contests.

4) NEW MYSTERY PHOTO CONTEST

Along with all of our changes, we have created a new contest called the 'Mystery Photo' contest. This new contest will be appearing regularly each month and give all our members a chance to guess the mystery photo. We have just posted our first mystery photo in our contest area, so go there now and submit your guess!

5) CONTEST E-MAIL

For those that really enjoy participating in our art/photography contests, we will now be sending an e-mail once a week with the new contests that have been posted to our site. We will be sending an e-mail to all our members about this contest e-mail and give everyone the opportunity to subscribe to it.
