HI, I'm new also to the Artwanted website, so I don't know anything about the TOP TEN. But what I do know is that , there are allot of real good artisit out there, and I'm enjoying myself just looking at everyones art work. And those of you that have made comments about my art work, I read every work and try to apply those comments to my art work and Photos.

Just a note to tell all of my favorite artists and everyone else, "I'm sorry". I changed my Internet provider, therefore, my email address was changed... I changed it within my artwanted account, but for some reason...and it STILL has not been explained to me...ALL of my email messages from artwanted, letting me know when someone uploads an image, kept coming to the OLD email address! When I alerted artwanted of this problem, they assured me that this was not happening...yet, I would have to go back to my OLD email address everyday, to find 2-3 emails from artwanted! Then they asked me to forward any emails sent to the old address. I did this for about a week. I NEVER heard from artwanted again. I had to go in and take all of my favorite artists off of my list to make the emails stop. I no longer have access to the old email address, so I am not sure if I still have emails coming from artwanted. All I know is...I don't have any emails from artwanted coming to my new address. Someone told me to "just go ahead and start my account all over again" and the problem would be solved. I would have to upload everything all over again...when it's a simple problem on artwanted's end. It seems SO simple to solve, but they couldn't seem to.

Mel - This is a simple problem to fix and there is no need to delete your images or your artwatch members. ArtWatch e-mails are tied to an e-mail address, and not an account, so your old e-mail address does need to be updated, but it is something that we can do for you.

Simply send us an e-mail and let us know your old and new e-mail address and explain you want your artwatch moved to your new e-mail address.

I JUST WANT TO COMMEND THE A W STAFF FOR SUCH A BRLOPING A WEBSITE. HAVE OTHYER WEBSITES BUT THEY PALE IN COMPARISON TO A W . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I ALSO LIKE TO SEE COMMENTS ON WHAT LITTLE WORK I HAVE HERE SO THAT I CAN CONTINUE TO IMPROVE. I'M 74 YEARS OLD AND STARTED PAINTING SOME 40 YEARS AGO THEN STOPPED FOR 35 YEARS. JUST STARTED BACK IN 2008 SO IF SOMEONE WANTS TO COMMENT ON MY WORK, GOOD OR BAD, MY FEELINGS WON'T BE BRUISED.

When I come here the first thing I do is look at the stats. I was a bit taken back, but then I read what you wrote.

Like another said, I enjoy coming here, looking and learning and being inspired. It's a great place to be and I do appreciate the work you do.

Hi Everybody, I get a lot of hits on my site, due to the fact I advertise http://www.artwanted.com/amikey a lot, it is on my business cards, on my email signature, and on my other websites, but comments not too many.

All my comments seem to be from other members here on artwanted.com and I thank you for them.

My hit volume is based on how much I advertise, I'm down for september, because I wasnt looking for work, but next month, I expect a rise.

Its really great to be able to upload, as much art work as I can, Thank You

Just a Mikey

I agree with Bert Cortes...
I totally agree with what Judy said. Glad that the infamous Top 10, which, with very few exceptions, was entirely a joke. Glad is gone now and hope AW will never bring it back since commenting on every image, like it or not, was the street to take to be in the infamous number every single day. AW is doing one great job trying to improve the site and thus far are succeeding. I like the changes they have made. Keep it up, AW.
We are all Internet addicts, anyway...

We should spend more time painting and taking photographs - and less time on the Internet.
