ArtWanted.com Outage

After several months of almost no down time, our data center had a hardware failure last night during a power outage, which caused our website (and many others) to be down for the last 12 hours. ArtWanted.com is now back online and no data was lost due to this hardware failure.

We apologize if you tried to access the website during this time and we not able to. We do not anticipate any additional long periods of down time now that this issue is resolved.

UPDATE: There are still a few things our ISP is working on surrounding this issue, which may cause intermittent down time, but it will only last a minute or two.

I understand completely i also had an outage my dog ate my power cord.

Just for your info AW..

Since the outage the site is running at a snails pace, if it's working at all.

Lots of Oooops messages and disconnects.

All the improvements in the workings of the site seem to have vanished???

We understand that it has been frustrating to surf our site in the last few days. The problems that you are seeing are due to some hardware failures a few days ago in the data center where ArtWanted.com is hosted.

We are aware of the issues and we have been told by the data center that a team of engineers is working to fix the problem. These issues were not caused by ArtWanted.com, nor is ArtWanted.com the only company to be effected by these problems. However, while this issue is outside of our control, we continue to put pressure on the company involved to get this problem fixed ASAP. We apologize to everyone and we expect things to return to normal very soon.

Thanks. Everyone should have noticed that things are back to normal for the last few days and you should be able to surf the website without delays or errors.
