New Shorter Image URLs
As the popularity of social media sites (like Facebook) continue to grow, it's critical that you are always sharing your artwork with your group of social fans.
Because of this rising trend, ArtWanted.com has now made it even easier for you to share links to your artwork. We have created a "shortcut URL" for every image on our site, which will link to your portfolio image. Shorter URLs are easier to share and link to, especially on websites that limit your characters like Twitter. Here is a quick example:
BEFORE: http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?id=1016579
NOW: http://ArtWanted.com/1016579
The two URLs above go to the same page, but the shorter one is much easier to use and share.
Where to find the short URLs to your artwork?
There are two places that you can look up the short URL for your images. The first place is on the image page itself, directly under the social media icons. The second place you can find this shorter URL is on the EDIT IMAGE page of your ArtWanted.com members area.
