in my opinion it looks ok, the form and composition work well, but the finish and distortion of the outlines look messy.

Thanks Mike. I agree I used the feather effect.. I was trying for something a little different... Here is my original oil wet and glossy...have a lot of work to do on it..

This is what I started with...a copy of my oil

Again my oil in not finished and I forgot to mention...I do not paint from a photo or pictures... I sketch out what comes from my mind and then I paint what I feel, if my paintings seem distorted or not perfect, maybe its because noting in my world is perfect.....

I would like to know what yall think and thanks in advance...

I think your original oil is the best. The colors are richer and it has more depth than the other scans. Very pretty. I paint from imagination quite a bit too.

Ok John but there is a price to pay, He has a story. Here is the short version. He was a premature baby and born dead and they brought him back to life.

They told us he would never walk or talk.

He is 14 months old in the photo with his oldest of three sisters dressed for prom.

He is my Miracle He walks and talks and he is 13 and still the light of my life and I am blessed to have three daugters who have given me six beautiful grandchildren too.

I used to watch him sleep when he was young and guess what At 13 I still think he is perfect when he is sleeping.
