Jazz Drawing

Hi folks, a detail of a drawing done last year..was returned to me from a private dealer upon my request..What do you think? small pencil drawing 5 inches square..the musician's name is Francis " Muggsy " Spanier

You must be a very patient person....such detail in a small space is amazing to me

If I were to try that much detailing like that, I would have balled up my work a long time ago since I am far from patient heehee

I cannot believe how small this drawing must be!!!

Your work is exceptional and surprising you must have oodles of patience!!! I have already rated this piece but I didn't understand about the size and that makes it so much more awesome ... sorry for dribbling but i am surprised . . . sometimes the size of a work so affects ones understanding I work so much bigger pieces and know from experience how much extra work goes into small works

I love your jazz related artwork Juan! Keep it up. It's just fantastic. I would love to do some myself and I probably will but my plate is really full right now. I just transcribed "My One and Only Love" from Sonny Rollins' "Greatest Hits" CD so I can play it on my sax.

I can almost hear the jazz music just looking at your artwork... great stuff~!!
