top ten t-shirts

Dear AW Friends! I was wondering if you sell t-shirts with the top ten logo? (For the people that have been rated thus.) It would be a cool way to advertise your site n' a nifty shirt to wear for the artists also. What do you think of including the website address on it too? I wish I could have one. If you do have one how much would it cost? I really want to wear one. What about buttons also? There could be a cool design made up for Artwanted in general with the site address on it. Am I crazy or what?! If you do not want to sell t-shirts is it ok if we design our own with the top ten logo on it or should one just devise their own idea? Thanks so much for everything Cheers n have a great new yr. Christine Brand

Thanks for the suggestion. We have plans to make a bunch of AW merchandise this year and we will add this shirt to the list.

Is AW considering merchandise where the artist whose work is featured gets royalties (paid) for its use (mugs, shirts, calendars by a certain topic of art example: fantasy,; stickers, collectibles and the like)? What I mean is, the artist gets a decent share and so do you....both parties are in a win/win situation...gets your site exposed and the artist noticed.

Also, is there the possiblity of a convention of AW artists? I have overall enjoyed this site very much and have learned a lot from so many here...it would be neat to meet a few

Although they are hardly inexpensive, there is a site that offers artists the ability to sell one-off items: mugs, calenders, t-shirts, etc. The pricing reflects the set up required to print one at a time. Not sure if AW wants to invest the money required to produce artwork and order in a gross of each of a whole variety of items.

In fact, I like the idea of this site being for sales of "real artwork" while CafePress sells "merchandise" -- my biggest concern is that the shipping fees seem a bit high. But they do have a lively message board community - very helpful and diverse group.

I signed up for a three month subscription to see if they help Valentine's Day sales. You can see my shop at http://www.CafePress.com/briangryphon

Cafepress.com tends to be a bit expensive though. Does anyone know any other sites that offer the same kind of service?

We have looked into CafePress and they do have a good solid program, although expensive. I guess it just costs a lot to do merchandise one at a time.

We too would like to hear about any other websites that offer a similar program.

I am wondering if it would be possible to allow any artist here the option to have the abilty to have certain products available and shown in a "store" from the artist's "gallery" here on AW.....the artists gets half sales, AW gets half of sales

What i mean is , say an artist thru aw wanted to sell certain items with their certain images and all the customer would do is click on the "add to cart" option on the artist's gallery page....the artist would get paid much like the selling program here already....I'm wondering if this could happen
