I support a regional multi-cultural magnate school in my city...they have a silent art auction once a year. I like the idea of the school....and hate public education.

Yeah that really did suck, I was hoping for so much with the art sale the fact is I just couldnt get it together fast enough By the time I realized art wanted wasnt going to do anything and went out on my own it was too late...oh well we gave it a shot...and we had alot of folks donate art work.......

Wonderful, Juan. Makes you feel good that you were able to make a bit of a difference, doesn't it?

Remember, it's all "ripples in the pond"!

It's awesome that they actually wrote back and sent you a "thank you" letter!

I have donated my art for charities and it really does feel good. So good that I created "A Piece Of My HeArt Project" specifically to continue to do so. Now, I have over a thousand artists worldwide participating in the experience that will ultimately raise money for hundreds of charities. You know, it just feels good to give something from the heart.

I donate multiple art works to Duke Engery's auction to raise funds for United Way. This past November I donated 30 paintings and they all brought in $$ for the cause.
