why don't the contests ever close when they're supposed to?

It's frustrating though... not only does the contest not END when it's supposed to, voting doesn't start or end on the right dates, the results aren't posted promptly... I mean, look at the holiday photography contest. When was it supposed to be finished? It's something that AW is unfortunately shoving to the back burner - not fair to all of us who actually ENTER these contests. We expect to see the results when we are TOLD they will be there.
AW - hope you're reading this. If you can't fix the contests, I mean actually CLOSE THEM AT THE RIGHT TIMES, then do away with them. It makes the site look unprofessional if you can't keep your own deadlines...
There is no reason besides the fact is that they get forgotten about, due to all of the other things we are working on.
We will think about some better ways to keep this more accurate.
