I am enamored of the idea, but have not purchased any yet...

...on the small technicality that as a truly starving artist, I rarely have any money left over to indulge in art after I have covered my bills and purchased art supplies from month to month. Otherwise, I would have the start of what would eventually become a prodigious collection.

Never heard of it, but sound like it could be intresting. If nothing else just for chits and gits.

And if any of you get a proposal with my name mentioned, I'm expecting at least a 6 pack for the referal

My wife has been doing it for a few years. She goes to Seattle to some artists retreat at some old Military Base on the beach and everyone arrives with lots of artwork on these old manilla clothes tags. Quite interesting. Most have the artists name & essentials listed on them either on the bach or incorporated into the art work.

I have me a collection of Boris , Olivia , Jim Warrren, and Frank Frazzetta trading cards , I don't know if these are the same ATCards you talked about.
