Let me know what you think....!

I like this shot, its a longish exposure with a (low power) flash burst, there is no post manipulation on this shot at all.

The reason I ask is I love it but my wife said "errrr" when I asked and no one's voted/rated it in my portfolio so I need a secound opinion.

Thanks, David.

great catch focus etc love the composition - and sense of movement i feel i would like the girl to turn her head a little frontwards -

i think its really good ! i like how it gives a real feeling of time being stopped. compositionally there may or may not have been an angle for a better shot but i wasnt there and can't say - regardless as is you've got a really COOL picture !

David--the vertical line, (created by the pole the girl is grasping and continued by her pant leg), neatly slices the photo in half. The left side is a lot brighter than the right side, and creates the illusion of 2 dissimilar photos "stiched" together. The girl looking away, directs the viewer out of frame and into the darker half of the photo....

Gotta agree with your wife.

Thankyou guys for the mixed bag of responces, POS & NEG, I never noticed the darker side of the background Before (VOA) good call. I was waiting for the girl to turn my way but in honesty I was felling a little queezy, one eye through a lens wizzing around.

I'll try again with this style next time I'm on a fairground ride...!

David.
