Photoshop question

Hi, I'm having a hard time merging layers in P.Shop. I have a backgound drawn and I'm trying to superimpose images into the background. I'm using P.Shop 7.0, would someone be so kind as to tell me how to go about doing this? Thank you

In the Layers palette, turn off visibility (the "eye" symbol) for all layers except the ones you want to merge.

Experiment with the blending modes and opacity to get the effect you want.

Then click the drop-down menu in the Layers palette (the little circle with the arrow in it), and click "Merge visible" in the list of commands. I also find it useful to make duplicate copies of the layers before I merge them, in case I change my mind later.

Hope this helps!

hi!first you need to chose the laso tool n cut out the part of the image that you would like to be pasted on the background.once selected, drag it on the background...do it for different pics dat you would like to be bought on the background.now for each layer chose the desired opacity....n make sure only the laers have the eye symbol on,not the background.then goto layers n merge sown visible!simple!
