this is the old toll road.

before the roads came through this was the lowest spot over the mountains between idaho city and boise from what i understand it was a grueling 3 day trip -- it now takes about 25mins to drive to idaho city from boise. wild.

they are great pics all of them i particularly like the wider viewing and the angle you have chosen it looks magnificently stark against the sky

i am still trying to decide myself if i like these shots or not, what i dont like about them etc. being a bayou-boy i dont have much experience shooting snow scenes after all.

yep we get some good snow up in them thar hills -- not too bad here in the valley of boise but even tonight its in the teens. brr!

Really wintery pictures Hinsel, they make me shiver LOL! I like them all but the wider shots of the church look the best.
