bonemans / ceremonial mask

this is my version its very heavy ,was going to wear it to burnningman this year but I think I'll make a lighter version.its made from the pelvic bone of a cow, horns are domestic sheepand fur is rabbit.

this is so brightly colored, i really like this piece alot. nice ceremonial piece.

burningman - you lucky dog - always wanted to experience that at least ONCE in my life.

your package of bones and shells should be at your house in a couple of days - have fun with the goodies!

my favorite critiques thank you for the comments, it weighs about 20 to 25 pounds, and i even tried that paint stuff.yes it fits just a hare heavy, thanks dawn for the goodies. burningman is bitchen every artist should go at least once in their lifetime.http://burningman.com

maybe you could sand it down a bit ? keep the shape and repaint it ? i dunno...haven't seen much cow bone myself. the horns really work awesome with that shape.

Make a mold and do it out of plastic...much lighter...yes?

Not to mention you'll still have the original if something should happen to the plastic one.
