but as for the artists having two images ? Can you explain that a bit for me ? did you repeat my image further along in the calendar ? Because, I only submited the one image for that particular page ... or did you take the liberty of looking through my images and just picking one out at your whim to toss in somewhere ? because, I was never asked to submit a second image to be added later in the year ... although that would have been a nice courtesy to have had offered to me ...
As for being offered a full refund ..... Please give me the link to that announcement. I seemed to have missed it ... I'd like to read it so that I can then feel bad for bitching and complaining because I really don't like to complain much at all.
I think most artists are a pretty calm lot, that would rather make love than war anyday ... even the darkest among us only want to ... in some small way fit in ... and when the place we come to, to do just that hangs us out to dry then we kinda feel hurt and cheated. We just wanted to feel the love and know that we were being taken care of ...
Let me tell you that even if you have the sweetest dog in the world and one day it, outa the blue bites you ... never to do it again ..... You will never look at the dog the same way again .... trust me.
As for .... "They have been mailed out and you should be seeing them in your mailboxes very soon." Well I'm not going to beat a dead horse .... I'll wait another week to see what happens.

12/24/04 - 2005 Calendar Update ...and would like a refund, please let us know and we will have no problem refunding your money.
The calendars were shipped via Media Mail, so we didn't need to charge much for postage, but this sometimes delays the shipping a bit. Everyone who ordered the calendar, will get it soon.
I confess that I rarely ever visit the message boards and I didn't see that Post. My fault for sure.
As for it being emailed to me ... now that I can honestly say that I don't remember ever getting that email. I sure would have liked to have uploaded another image. I won't cast stones about it though ... it could be that I got it and it got deleted somehow so I'll never know for certain.
Your second link is broken so I can't read what it says on it but, if you offered a refund then you did your part .... I don't remember getting an email asking me if I wanted to cancel my order or get a refund but you didn't say that you sent us one ... Guess it was up to me to watch for the news.
I now officially apologize ...
I'm sorry that I had to resort to making a ruckus to find out what would be done ... I'll wait a bit more to receive it.

Not being a starving artist, I can afford full membership and have easily bought a bottle of whisky or, say three cigars that have put me in the hole deeper than the one calendar that I bought so it's not about the money to me ...
It's about honesty and integrety, and the fact that in any other circumstance where I have purchased something ... it never has been as rediculous as this.
Also it's about some friends of mine .... A few that I have persuaded to join this site ... One I know that became a premium member like myself that also ordered a calendar and had art in it .... and Whom also hasn't recieved it ... Now, how should I feel about putting a good word in about artwanted then have them do this to people that believed me when I said that this place is great .... Hell I was pulling people in off of Art Chat sites that I hang out in, that asked if anyone knew of a good site that they could display their art.
Also that friend sold a piece of their art through here and I honestly think that it's been several months and they haven't recieved payment for it. It wasn't a large ammount, but there we go again with bad business practices. Note to self ... Take down the purchase option from my images, so that it doesn't happen to me.
As it is now ... I've joined another site ... and am a full paying member ... I've actually brought a few people that I knew from here with me .. They also offer a free version. Also I've had two other free sites see me on here and ask me to join their sites as well, and a third that only allows entry by jury but that does cost 50 dollars a year that already gave me the green light on the jury treatment since they've seen my work, therefore nullifying the need for me to send my images to them .... those few sites and the fact that I know of a handfull more that are dedicated towards promoting artists ..... just goes to prove a point that Artwanted isn't the only site out there ....
The next couple weeks will decide for me my fate and decide whether or not I will be seen here anymore. I'm a firm believer that you should treat people how you yourself want to be treated. I won't be assocciated with a site that continues to put down paying members and supporters over the multitude of non paying folks ... maybe out of the goodness of their hearts they can survive off a site where over two thirds of the members are on for free ... Good luck for them if they can. So now I wait .... to see what happens.
Honest to God ... Andy must also be an artist because I know that I am a terible businessman. Maybe it's an artist's downfall ... Who knows ?
As for him being biased towards you women I can't comment upon it. This was my first post ever on the boards. It's easy to see why I may have missed a few of the anouncements .... The emails on the otherhand ... I usually notice and Gary said that he recieved one of them ... so It could have gotten tossed by accident.
I did read the link that you posted Leigh ... Seems I have broken most of the Artwanted commandments .... What can I say ? When I'm good ... I'm good .... When I'm bad ... I'm better ....haha ..... Your guess is as good as mine to why I have been listened to ? maybe I get a free shot seeing as I have never posted before ? Maybe that's it ?
On another note though. I saw a post saying something about the rating system and how some people where being jerks and leaving nasty comments and bad ratings. I know when you go into your member's area to see recent comments on your works that you can hide or even delete them ... Now mind you I don't know if that deletes whatever bad rating they give you.
Myself I couldn't care less what kind of rating I'm given .. I do apreiciate all the nice comments and praise that I have been given, but it seems that there is a top ten club for every conceivable thing imaginible on here ... everytime I seem to look at someone's art Poof there it is ... they're a top ten club member ... Haha I find it funny .. kinda like where in kindergarden everybody gets a star ... even if they didn't do well ... I mean afterall they are just sweet little kiddos, but hello ??? We are grown ups aren't we ? I think top ten really should be earned ... not just given out because people have looked at your latest piece of art alot ... You know what ? If I want to be in the top ten club at any given day, all I need to do is draw or paint a beautiful woman ... in an almost revealing pose and Presto .... All the young gentlemen on here will peruse it and I'll get my gold star ....

I had gone out tonight and blew 800.00 dollars on frames so I spent a few hours framing up artwork for a solo exhibition that I'm schedueled for the month of April. Should have just went to bed afterwards, but here I am. Clucking like an old hen
