To Ebay or not to Ebay

Just a question..I have recently started selling artwork on ebay (things i did when in school, prints from editions, ect..) have any of you dabbled in it, and what do you think about it? I think it is a good way to supplement my low income, but sometimes think my work is selling for way under value (which i actually don't mind..) I just stuck in an image of one piece i am going to sell..

there are serious ebay artists who are indeed powersellers. rachels art is one girl I can think of. She occaisionally sells for 200.00 but most of the time things sell for under 20.00. I'm sure you've seen the 1 cent opening bids too. That's just a gimmick usually there is a reserve price so that things don't actually sell for a penny. I sold a tiny print for 10.00 plus shipping and some other pieces in the 50.00 range but many times the "higher" prices don't sell as quickly and the fees can eat up your profits. The averaged out price for ebay art according to Andale research is 14.75. So if you can live with that price range then you will probably be pretty successful. To become an entry level powerseller at 14.75 per painting you would have to sell 70 paintings a month or almost 3 a day, every day.
