I need to know

I have just started playing around with painting. I am not getting much encouragement from anyone that my attempts are even worthwhile. I have now become embarrassed that I have shown the paintings to anyone....the best reaction has been..that's nice.

I just need someone else opinion

I think I have received my response...so I will find another hobby. Thank you for your time.

BACK Up THERE! Don't go away! I just found you today. I also went to your port. I see that you have A very good sense of color...and you handle your paints very well! As I look at your trees...I see that the blending of the leaves are great! Give yourself time. Practice...and more practice...We ALL had to go through that! THAT'S the FUN part! Go on with the talent that God gave you...and join us..for the artist that you are. I look forward to seeing your next painting!

Nothing comes fast and easy. You have the strong beginings to an artistic future. Mostly you should paint for you, that is if you are a hobbiest as you say. Paint for others if you wish to be commercial, even then at some level you have to paint for you. Give it up if you wish but there is growth with time. If I were you I would give it time.

kind of funny...

if it's just a hobby what anyone else thinks won't matter because its not that important...

if it's a passion what anyone else says isn't important because it can't stop you...
