Why is this in top 10

I have a painting that has only 2 ratings, which are 9's. Why is it in the top 10? I thought works had to receive all 10's to be in the top 10.

Proof of the inaccurate rating system that is in place now. Your piece obviously made it based on views.

I have had work with 20 plus tens in one day not make it and others with many less votes and some nines mixed in make it.

The system seems to be unfair to some and kinder to others and a bit confusing to say the least, and until it is changed I will spend more time focusing on my work rather than numbers. I think we should have an optional vote feature so we the artist can decide and vote what goes into the top ten rather than the computer doing it.

This is a good question Vivian, I'll await the answer with anticipation.

I believe it has to do with which gallery you post in too. I know of a couple that were immediately in the top ten and remain months later.. only 4 comments.. and yet.. paintings like my Johnny Depp.. received 10's galore and It never made it to the top ten.... ??? Exact reason I hold little value on the ratings....
