gettin' oils to dry

So I was workin' on a portrait of hank, and from the get go first brushstroke funked it up on the face. Not quitting I went on to mess up the face several more times, filled in the background and painted the rest of the piece. how can I get the thin layer of paint to dry on the face before forever. A Hair dryer? It only needs to dry a little bit.

Use less linseed oil when painting..that slows the drying. I also use egg yolk as mixer/thinner towards the end for a high gloss finish and it dries quickly too. I haven't worked in oils now for ages..and am longing to start again this year. Reason..move too much and the drying became a problem. Should not use heat to dry paints...just use less oil.
