Dear Minerva... thanks so much for the assistance, I know it. BUT, There's a MUCH BETTER WAYS, To solve it. The first way, is to start the "ROOF " Of the 3 images at the same line - I see it as a must. The title can go more down, or second way : to shorten the words of text of title, it was done, in the past, if i remember well. I see the design of the site now more like toys to play with. The way it all showed is TOO BUSY, And less professional. The question here, WHY ARE HERE ?.. To play, or to exhibit our ART ?... ............ To paint, or to sit in massage boards, to explain BASIC ISSUES OF UNDERSTANDING, OR NOT UNDERSTANDING, THE LOOK. There's always a PERFECT Solution for perfectionists, if not here, then elsewhere...

Dear Minerva. I know why I'm here.... at least, I was full time here, until, their DRASTIC CHANGE OF COLOUR. I have my official, web- site, where actually I have MUCH MORK - To update it, and change MANY OLD Pages, from the time, I was just starting my way in internet, few years back... It's a lot of work, because I'm very creative in many areas... So I delay my OWN site, in favor of being AW, Member, until now. But, I think every artist must have his priorities. And, so, I do from time to time updates, as my time allows. The reason, I was here, is fast way to exhibit, my ART, Everyday and talk about it with friends. This, I can do in more places. About the selling of ART Products, as far as I saw here, YOUR Work, is shown, YET... The presentation of products they sell, shown on item , not with your own work, but other works, at least, it was like this,I'm not sure, perhaps they change this. As long as my works, not presented well, for sells, its not professional way to my opinion... there are many sites which show, your exact product.. I mean the print of yourself printed on many products. THIS IS A MUST ! you know the ABC of presentation, to my opinion.. I don't understand why AW, Until now didn't do it...instead, they made SHOW OF TOYS,Here.. this is my feelings. So.. I was here, for the friends... and fast posting of an image. The friends are ALL OVER The internet, and actually the REAL friends I made here, are in e.mails and in more places too... If you LOVE People, like I do.. people love you... So you make friends. BUT, I simply, can't see this GREY Colour... and even less with the white I simply CAN'T.. And i don't feel myself at my HOME VIRTUAL GALLERY ANYMORE, Do you understand. They made such DRASTIC Change... AGRESSIVE COLOUR CHOICE, And I don't live with it in peace, I'm so sorry to say. You know, I had my own joy to open my portfolio, and open images, and read comments, and now, I simply DON'T... They took my SMILE, Away...perhaps, I must change my bio photo now to grayish colour, NO SMILE.. To fit this all scene. Thank you, Minerva... Good night from Israel. P.S: It's not the money, that I paid here, BUT MY TIME, AND MY LOVE, THAT I PUT SO MUCH HERE.. MY HEART, That they took with this background.

I understand and can feel with Nira, the grey is not the right color for this design. But what can we do? Personally I don't like the round edges, prefer straight lines in an art-site. Have to remark I never was in a site which was making such big changes. When you are doing it in this way you are asking for reactions, critical and approving ones. And is this an art-site? Just wondering....But realising I'm from Europe. We need to do some steps to understand each other....me too....

My dear Nelly.. many of the MASTER IN ART, Came from Holland.. and Europe of course. You must be proud of your country, and your FINE ART, My girl, Nellushka. You are also very active, few years on the site. & You are right !! They had excellent look, here, and they simply, made a new look, that is SO RIGID, .. This is what you see HUGE GEOMETRICAL FORMS, IN STRONG CONTRASTS. They should realize, that the shape of the portfolio, should be the MOST SIMPLE, AND CLEVER. This is not simple, nor clever at all... IT IS "THE SHOW" "THE IMAGE" now ... And then YOU, go to search for the artist's image. SEARCH FOR IT... I hope your comments were go to the artist and not for this STRONG POWERFUL GEOMETRICAL SHAPES OF NEW PORTFOLIO. Love you, Nellushka. You're my friend forever. ----------------------------------------Also, if they did such changes, they work so much on them... not only they should share us with the look step by step.. but let us vote by mail - everyone. BUT, They simply BOOMED, And shocked me. ME, That so much love and understand colour... I simply feel locked, can't move this grey background... I also don't understand these shapes... I must go to rest... It's NIGHT, And my neck is stuck from the morning... With hopes for a BETTER TOMORROW..

AW THE "SUBMIT" BUTTONS ARE IN EXACTLY THE SAME SPOT AS THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN. IT IS 2 1/4 INCHES AWAY FROM THE RIGHT END OF THE COMMENT SPACE. I'VE CUT WAY DOWN ON MY COMMENTS, BECAUSE THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH MOUSE & ARM MOVEMENT. PUTTING THE SUBMIT BUTTON ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE COMMENT BOX MIGHT WORK BETTER. I NOTICE THAT COMMENTS ARE WAAAAAYYYYY DOWN. WAAAAYYYYY DOWN. I SEE SO VERY FEW NOW AS I COMMENT. SO OTHER PEOPLE MUST BE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE DIFFICULTY IN COMMENTING OR/AND THE NO TOP TEN MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WAY LESS COMMENTS TOO. WITHOUT ALL THE PEOPLE COMMENTING, THE SITE SORT OF DIES; SEEMS DEAD. REALLY THE SITE NEEDS TO BE MADE TO FIT THE COMPUTER SCREEN MEANING ALL 4 ROWS OF ART WORK SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE SEEN WHEN ONE CLICKS NEXT ON THE DATE SECTION, AND IN OUR PORTFOLIO, AND IN THE ARTIST GROUPS SECTION. THE FAR LEFT ROW OF ART WORK IS OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE COMPUTER SCREEN. ALSO WHERE/HOW IN THE MEMBERS AREA DOES ONE SEE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ADDED THEM TO ARTWATCH? IN CATCHING UP WITH THE WRITINGS ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD, I HAVE TO AGREE WITH NIRA. I MUCH PREFER THE OLD AW LOOK, AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE OLD "FEEL". BECAUSE I AM LOOKING MORE AT PAINTINGS, I'VE NOT REALLY NOTICED THE BACKGROUND COLORS ON THE SITE. THEY ARE REALLY NOTHING...SO DON'T DETRACT FROM ANY PAINTINGS. SO FOR ME, THAT IS FINE. FOR ME, THE AW SITE HAS TO BE "COMFORTABLE" TO NAVIGATE IN ALLLLL AREAS. AND COMFORT TO ME IS "NO PAIN" IN MY LEFT ARM IF I WANT TO COMMENT ON EVERY PAINTING IN EACH DATE SECTION. I USED TO DO THAT, YOU KNOW, AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH BEING UNCOMFORTABLE AND IN PAIN. I RE-ITERATE.........THE SITE IS TOO LARGE FOR THE COMPUTER SCREEN. THUS THERE IS WAY TOO MUCH MOUSE ACTION AND ARM ACTION GOING BACK AND FORTH AND SCROLLING UP AND DOWN. REALLY, AW STAFF, YOU NEED TO GET OUT ON THE SITE AND TRY COMMENTING ON EVERY PERSON'S WORK OF ART IN THE DATE SECTION AND SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. AND I THINK EVERY PERSON DESERVES AT LEAST ONE COMMENT ON HIS/HER WORK OF ART. TO THEM AND TO ME, IT MAKES OUR DAY AND OUR EFFORTS ALL WORTH WHILE. IT MAKES SHOWING OUR WORK ON AW FUN. :-) LIKE NIRA, I'VE HAD MANY MANY OFFERS TO PUT MY PAINTINGS ON MANY OTHER ART SITES AND HAVE PUT SOME ON 3 OTHERS, BUT AW WAS HOME TO ME; IT WAS FUN TO ME EACH DAY; IT'S WHERE I SPENT MOST OF MY FREE TIME. NOW IT IS PAIN. WHY? A TOTAL CHANGE IN A SITE THAT "WAS" COMFORTABLE TO NAVIGATE, FABULOUS LOOKING, AND FUN.

AW PLEASE TAKE A LOOK WHERE THE "SUBMIT" BUTTON IS FOR THIS COMMENT BOX. IT'S ON THE "LEFT" SIDE. YES!!!!!!!! ALSO TAKE A LOOK WHERE THE "SUBMIT" BUTTON IS ON THE COMMENT BOX WHEN SOMEONE CONTACTS YOU. IT'S RIGHT NEXT TO THE BOX ON THE RIGHT SIDE. Sharon - We have tweaked the code, so that the submit button is next to the comment box as you are suggesting. Keep in mind that different browsers will display this page differently.

When you click on the 'View the names' link on the ArtWatch page, it should give you a list of all the people that have added you to their artwatch. We just tried it on your account and it came up just fine. Here is the direct link to this report if you need it:

HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU! BRINGING THAT BUTTON OVER MEANS NO MORE HAVING TO MOVE TO OFF THE SCREEN TO CLICK IT. THE LEFT CORNER OF THE BUTTON IS ON THE SCREEN NOW WITHOUT HAVING TO SCROLL SIDEWAYS TO SEE IT.(WHAT EVER YOU CALL THAT). YES! ALL THAT'S NEEDED IS THAT CORNER. TO SEE THE ENTIRE BUTTON, IT WILL HAVE TO BE MOVED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PAINTING COMMENT BOX AS IT IS FOR THIS MESSAGE BOARD COMMENT BOX. AND THAT WOULD CERTAINLY WORK TOO AND PUT THE MOUSE CLOSER TO THE BACK TAB FOR MORE COMMENTS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. OK, NOW I KNOW WHY THE SUBMIT BUTTON FOR THE PAINTING COMMENT, WOULD BE BEST ON THE LEFT, BECAUSE YOU CLICK THE COMMENT BOX, LET YOUR MOUSE GO SITTING IN THE LEFT SIDE SPOT ON THE COMMENT BOX AND TYPE IN THE COMMENT. WHEN YOU PICK UP THE MOUSE AGAIN, IT WOULD BE SO EASY AND EFFICIENT TO JUST CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON AND NOT EVEN HAVE TO MOVE THE MOUSE. :-) THANK YOU!

AW......OK, IT'S NOT JUST THE "VIEW THE LIST" IN MY "MANAGE ARTWATCH" SECTION THAT DOESN'T WORK. NONE OF THE BLUE LINKS WORK. I CANNOT MANAGE MY ARTWATCH SECTION SINCE I CANNOT REMOVE ANYTHING AND I CANNOT GO TO ANYONE'S PORTFOLIO. SO HOW, I WANT TO KNOW, AM I SUPPOSED TO MANAGE THIS SECTION?????????? ALSO THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LINK IS NOT THE SAME AS THE NUMBER MENTION NEXT TO THE BLUE LINE "VIEW NAMES" IN MY ARTWATCH SECTION. ????????????? ............................................................................ IF YOU TELL ME HOW TO TAKE A SNAP SHOT OF MY MANAGE ARTWATCH SECTION, I WILL PUT MY MOUSE OVER A BLUE LINE, AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IT IS JUST LIKE A BLACK LINE........NO HAND. THANK YOU LOTS.

Then you will need to paste (CTRL+V) this screen shot into a new Photoshop document and save it, or a new HTML email and send it. There are also dozens of free 'screen capture' programs that you can download for free with additional features. Check out download.com for a handful of these programs. THE 4TH ROW OF ART WORK IN THE DATE SECTION IS BEING MISSED NOT ONLY BY ME, BUT BY OTHERS. WHICH MEANS OUTSIDERS COMING TO THE SITE, PERHAPS LOOKING FOR ART WORK, ARE MISSING THAT 4TH ROW TOO. THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE THAT IT EVEN EXISTS. SINCE YOU HAVE SET THIS UP WITH 4 ROWS OF ART WORK, ALL 4 ROWS NEED TO BE IMMEDIATELY SEEN, IN THE DATE SECTION, IN OUR PORTFOLIOS, AND IN THE GROUP SECTION, AND ANY WHERE ELSE ON THE SITE THAT THE 4 ROWS OF ART WORK EXISTS.
