My thermometer says it 68 but it feels cooler than that. It's not an uncomfortable coolness but coolness nonetheless. Our leaves are starting to turn now. a little more today than yesterday, Autumn is in the air for sure. before we know it, the little ones will be at the door in Halloween garb yelling trick or treat....... my goodness but the times just flies by. Marlene, I hate to burst your bubble about sweating. When it is that hot the sweat evaproates so fast you think you aren't. When your body runs out of sweat you have heat stroke. plumb killer when that happens. so drink lots of water. Guess you already know that though. You been there long enough to know that en.

Will be over 100 all week, but the weather man is promising 90s and maybe even rain for the weekend. We've heard that before, and I think many times it's wishful thinking, because it's usually hotter than they say it will be. Still, it is noticeable how much better the low 100s feel compared to over 110, and the nights and early mornings are getting quite pleasant. If not for the scorpions who'd find their way in, I could leave the windows open some nights and turn off the AC.

Our high 80's turned out closer to 100 yesterday. Today's forecast calls for low 90's.

Now that the rain has stopped for a bit.. It is really quite nice here in the Northeast. So nice that i have my door open. The temp stands at 73 degrees here at3:45 in the afternoon. Beautiful fall day. Enjoy Folks.

It didn't get as hot as they thought...now that's a switch! It was 99 yesterday. I went out to do errands today and thought it felt like about 100. It is in the 70s before the sun comes up in the morning. Have been able to run the AC on a higher temp sometimes now and still be comfortable. They are predicting a warmer, dryer winter than usual.

A warmer drier winter is not what we expect here in the Northeast.When winter finally arrives we will be butt deep in snow for 6 months. So far the weather here has been lovely. just a few rain showers now and then. temps are holding in the upper 50's and 60's.I can live with that without to much trouble. have a great day all

The weather man seems to be having trouble predicting just what it's going to do. But overall, things are cooling off, to low 100s and the occasional day of high 90s. The first below 90 day is predicted for next week...will believe that when I see it! Forecast for rain keeps being just a promise that never quite materializes, nevertheless, it's in the forecast again.

Here is a new bit of news. I had to put on my little heater this morning. When I got out from under my nice warm blankets.............It quickly brought to mind of things to come and worse. Temp did get to 51 degrees today.

Another chilly morning... But it promises to be a nice day. The sun is out and warm coming in my windows. So I guess it is fair to say the warm weather has not given up yet. Enjoy your day wherever you are in this world as i will do the same. Temp. is only 47 degrees here.

We suddenly got cooler weather--woo hoo!!! We're looking at a few days of 70s and 80s and cool enough to turn off the AC at least some of the time and let in fresh air, (when we're not having a dust storm). It is supposed to get back into the 90s again next week but I think summer may have officially lost its grip on us now and we can look forward to more nice days to be outside. YAY!

Good Morning from frosty New York. We had a heavy frost last night.Here at 9:00 am the temp is only 35 degrees. It got very cold in the night .my furnace is all the way down but still came on .so it had to be freezing.It looks like the true Autumn weather has started,

Had several beautiful days in a row, didn't get over 90, a couple days were in the 70s, and the evenings have been nice and cool. Was able to work and paint outdoors all day today in the shade without getting hot! But tomorrow and the rest of the week it's supposed to climb back to about 100. Hopefully that'll be short lived. The nights are still supposed to be nice though.
