Ok!!! Who the hell is hogging all the sun? Eh? We didnt have snow for the past 36 hrs...but waking up to this GREY every day is a pain in the royal u-know-what! BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT there is hope...cause even before the daylight came, there were some nutty birds out there chirping away. PLEASE tell me that is a sign of SPRING coming!!! BTW the photo is my nutty bird Buschi, trying to check out a place to build a nest. She is TOTALLY over sexed at the moment!

She is trying to find a place to set up a nest!!!!!!!!!! The vet told me not to let her crawl into things, nor smootch her too much. Otherwise the hormons go even higher and she will lay an unfertilized egg!!! That stresses some birds so much, that they die! And its not ME saying she is "oversexed", its the EXACT words of the vet! *sigh* As to the weather: (have to explain a bit!) I had to do my darn curtains in the livingroom today, after the kitchen-duststorm! Had to get that booger done before my hand operation on Monday! Well, needless to say.........after struggling to get the booger down------my face was so red, I could have attracted all the bulls around, for a decent fight! Seeing that I was melting...I took off one of the layers, that keep me warm! It didnt help much. I was getting soaked! Then it dawned on me...the snow was melting big time outside...I checked the temps!!! 11° C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 15° more than yesterday! I was ready to put on the bathing suit and lay on the balcony, inspite of the missing sun. DAMN that's hot! Trixi cooled down, by turning down the heater and airing out the room, but she is now again a believer, that Spring is springing somewhere out there!

I've got, what they call a snap finger......of all places the middle finger of the right hand. Im either showing people a "bird" or I cant get the damn thing open. Has to get done! I was told the shots will be the worst part!
