Q: Is there anyway to search for artists by their hometown? If not, I think this would be a great idea so you could network with other artists close to where you live.

A: If you click on the ARTISTS button at the top of any page, you can search by country, state and city to find local artists.

Q: i'm not really sure what's going on but this is the 3rd time i've tried to post a question about sketch pad and ALL of my questions have mysteriously disappeared. getting a little paranoid.don't think the sitake is at my end so i don't know what to think. anyway..... try again. what has happened to sketch pad. was it lost is it just 'in the works'or what.some kind of response would really be appreciated. thanks. sheila.ps: they keep disappearing from my saved threads as well so what's a person to think??????

Q: I think it's fair to ask if an update that was uploaded either the day before the server debauchle or the day before, shouldn't be up by now. Shouldn't they be?

A: All images have been updated at this point. If it's still not updated for you, we ask that you just upload it again. Thanks.

Q: AW this has nothing to do with artwanted business but i would like to ask...I know u are in Utah and Utah is large state...but are u anywhere near where COAL MINE colapsed...any family or relatives involved in this tragic accident?

A: Thanks for your concern. No, we are not located by the mine accident and our staff is not aware of any family/friends involved.

Q: also.....question and suggestion at the same time...If you to answer this topic on daily basis regulary ...then there will be no posts scatered all over artwanted.com asking all kind a questions...it looks real cluttered ....Can your staff answer this topic daily? members are posting everywhere questions to get yours attention desperate for answers....

Q: Hi AW,

I'm going to use a private gallery to collect together some possible images for use in an upcoming show. Do I have to move them into the normal upload section for them to be included in the print program ? Or can we print from the private gallery feature ?

A: At this time, we don't have the print program connected to private galleries. This is a feature we are working on for a future update to our website. For now, you will need to upload print images to your normal portfolio and then delete them after you have the prints.

Q: I have noticed that I cannot get canvas prints on any of my work. Is this still not available as yet? And why can we not get prints for our private galleries? Thanks in advance for any answer to these questions! :)

A: Canvas prints do require pretty high resolution images, so it's possible that your images do not meet this criteria. You can always test it out by uploading a new image to see if the canvas options are available. Canvas prints are available for those images that qualify at this time.

I have making a command of my product in July and strangely the list is always on my shopping cart like its not confirmed. And i have not received a mail to confirm me the products i want is posted. I have a number that confirm my pay-pal payment .

I'm sorry, we don't quite understand what you are saying here. Perhaps it would be better to email our staff with the specific details, so that we can look into this.

Canada shipping just depends on what is being ordered and the shipping options that you select. Most items are there within a week or two from being shipped out.

How can I delete just the zoom image? When I try to delete the zoom image it doesn't work.

A: Please let us know what image zoom you are trying to delete via e-mail and we can look into why you can't delete it.

This is getting crazy, guys. I want to upload a lot of images for printing. Just sat for ages waiting for a measly 6MB image to upload with no success. No queries are being answered. Does the print program have probs too ? I don't have enough time before the upcoming show to fool around like this.

Really not wanting to be rude.....just telling it how it is.

A: We are sorr you are having problems uploading files. If you continue to have these problems, please send us your image via e-mail, so we can test the image on our end to see what you may be seeing.

Q: I haven't gotten ANY ARTWATCH EMAILS of top 10 emails in months. I've written and inquired on numerous occasions. Please respond.

A: All art watch e-mails are sent to all people on a daily basis. If you are not able to get this, we ask that you first check with your spam/junk mail folders. Many companies block ArtWanted emails, because we send so much. There is not a lot we can do about this, as we show these are being sent out. We are sorry that you are not able to get them.

Q: How does ones know if art is in the pic of the day? Are there any alerts?

A: The 'pic of the day' feature does not currently notify the artist if they are selected. This has been suggested in the past and something we will probably do in the near future.

Why you have deleted your own thread?I mean i am saying about AW staff's thread on GDB reopening.You have said there to restore all those previous data within a week,it's a week long now,but nothing is restored,but damatically missing that thread...what exactly your point AW??

A: The thread purpose was to let everyone know of the technical problems that prevented us from posted the GDB on the 1st. It was a 'technical update', which normally are removed after a few days from our site, so that they don't stay part of the general announcements. We are still working on restoring the GD board and have not forgotten about it
