"I'm not to big to be a lap dog". My brother- in-law and his dog Summer

RQ Trietsch 15 Feb 2008

Scooter on the left (older dog) and Summer in the front. Young and adopted by my sister and brother in law. Summer is extremely hyper but a cool dog.

I like this one of my two boys! Nanuk the youngster, showing Eskimo, he is getting big too! HEHEEHE

Jodi Keys 20 Feb 2008

I had to add my little girl! YA think she is spoiled?

RQ Trietsch 20 Feb 2008

Oh the joys of having white dogs. They look great. Love you hide-a-bed pup. Reminds me of my wienner dogs years ago.

Jodi Keys 20 Feb 2008

White is a pain to keep clean! Nanuk goes to the groomer, Eskimo would need doggie drugs if you even tried to take him! I have to hold him tight just to clip his nails. He was a rescue, and is terrified of getting in a car. Im lucky my vet does house calls. Lilly, has to have her blanket, and her toys. They are all such funny little guys! I could keep posting with the group I have here but I'd hate to bore you all.:)

We're use to spoiling our animals. We keep talking about getting a new pup.

Was thinking "rescue" but you don't know how they're going to be around cats. Makes one leary. But I'd rather adopt one than house break a puppy. I know there are pluses in raising your own from the start, but I haven't had a puppy since I was a kid, and me and mutts really hit it off normally.

It is a decision that is hard. Altho all of my cats, most of the dogs (the siberian I bought from a friend) even my geese (who happen to be better guard dogs, than the dogs them selves. Came from unwanted situations. Of course the horses arent rescues. Most of the dogs were young at the time. I think Eskimo was nearing a year old. I will say truthfully All have issues weve had to work through. Except Nanuk who we raised (10 weeks). I am at my max and cant take anymore but always miss the puppy stages!!!! Their so adorable. :)

I couldn't agree with you more when it comes to geese, especially in the spring time. I had 6 of them at one time, before the coyotes or bobcats got them. Had a pair of the standard white ones; a pair of Canadians, and a pair the ugly Chinese ones. Use to have a whole bunch of chickens, that eventually met the same fate, as did the ducks.

So know the urban cowboy farm is now a veggie garden.

My pair are Ozzie and Sharon. They normally love me but you are so right!!! They are setting up their nest and in a few more weeks they will bite the snot outta ANYONE! You should see the meter reader! Now that is so funny. For some reason out of all the places on this prop. they choose to put a nest right next to the house. (we dont cage them). It is the Funny Farm. hehe all the animals co exsist very well together. I took this shot today couldnt resist posting. This is Cadbury King of the cats!

RQ Trietsch 22 Feb 2008

Nothing like the look of wait. Been thinking about doing another chicken coop, but then I never caged any of our animals except our inside cats.

RQ Trietsch 17 Mar 2008

Here's one of most of them together

Really need to take that shot with the 35 mm.

Anyway, left to right.....Zodie, Casey, Remy, and the last one at the moment "Munk". Stubby is up above her but didn't make the picture.
